Cast Away Part 2 - Run by Mees

Cast Away Part 2, but at a perfect point to jump in!

The party has been shipwrecked on an island, and to continue the voyage during the storm season is expensive. To get some cash, you've taken on a job from a blacksmith to transport a cart filled with weapons to a barons' keep deep in a dark forest, and some of you have floated the idea of doublecrossing the baron...

Mysteries of Arbra: The Second Chapter - Ran by Joules

Ahoy, explorers! The name is Ragna Stonehand, archeologist extraordinaire! I require 3 to 6 intrepid and curious adventurers to seek out a grand treasure!

A few years ago I made a major discovery deep inside the ancient jungles of Arbra, far across the Sea of Swords. Surely you’ve heard Arbra through many a bard’s tales of vine-overgrown lost cities, where the walls were made of crystals and the streets made of gold. And surely you’ve heard of adventurous young folk like you who rushed to the new frontier seeking fortune, only to find old stone dragon statues and foliage that tries to kill anyone who touches it! Let an old dwarf archeologist like me assure you: the truth, as with so many things, lies in the middle – to those who are willing to dig a little deeper.

I have sight on 4 ancient archeological sites far off into the Arbran wilderness that I need you to explore. The first such site will take you to what I believe to be the ancient Dragonborn word for… ehm... “Pit?” “Earth?” “Mineshaft”, maybe? Forgive me my spotty translation. 4th level adventurers would do nicely for this mission, of beginning to intermediate experience. If you are succesful, perhaps you could help me on the next three such sites in the future…

So I implore you:, head deep inside the ruins of an ancient civilisation, hidden in the hostile wilderness of this stranger oversea land. Help me discover what happened to the Dragonborn that once inhabited this place. And uncover treasures unimaginable, that definitely belong in a museum!

For the next months Joules will run a total of 4 adventures following this premise. They can be played either standalone or stringed as a mini-campaign – for level 6, 8, and 10 adventurers respectively. You don’t have to stay around for all of them, but it might be fun! For this one, please bring a level 6 character to the table. All players are welcome but the players who joined part 1 are encouraged to join again!

Triggers/themes: thinly-veiled analogies to Indiana-Jones/Lara-Croft-esque colonialism, fully-optional violence against fantasy creatures (degrees of which may be modified based on players’ veils and lines), cave-ins and suffocation.

Welcome to the FUNgeon Dungeon! - Ran by Giancarlo

Every night, adventurers, families, and travelers from all over line up for a table or to experience the thrills of the “Fun”geon, the magical obstacle course built beneath the Dueling Knight's Tavern. Unique in its construction, the “Fun”geon is designed to offer thrills and near death experiences without any actual danger. Anyone who falls victim to one of its many traps or puzzles is rescued at the last moment from instant death and teleported safely back to the entrance. One of the main attractions are the giant magical mirrors that showcase the progress of whoever is currently  running the course. In between runs, live stage shows are performed by animated marionettes like Gizmo the Dancing Bear. Or at least, it would on any other night.

When you and your party arrive ready for a night of fun, you find local clerics healing injured townspeople, the town guard guarding the entrance, and the owner, Reginald, running around, his robe in tatters.

"The FUNgeon... it's broken!"

"There are still people inside!"

"Not Gizmo the Dancing Bear!"

What went wrong? Who is still trapped? What puzzles and traps you will find within? Only time will tell...

Party with a Murderer - Ran by Merijn&Moss

You've received an invitation to the Winter’s Ball, the most fancy party in the city. This in itself is already special since you're one of the few regular people who has been invited to this event, normally it's just for nobility and the rich people. But there's something extra special about your invitation because there was an extra note in a different handwriting in the envelope:

I've specifically requested that you'd be invited cause I want to share something special with you. At the Winter’s Ball right as the clock strikes 12 I am going to murder one of the guests. I would love for you to be able to witness this event. I look forward to seeing you.

As soon as you finish reading the note it went up in flames, but you know what you saw. You are going to party with a murderer
